im-purr-tant update:
your cats at meowfest

We would like to share an important update regarding meowfest.

Considering insightful feedback we received from fellow members of the cat community, we will no longer be inviting guests to bring their cats to the event. This includes guests who have already submitted an online application to bring their cat.

As an event whose core mission is to help shelter cats, the wellbeing of cats is our first and foremost priority. Even with parameters in place to help make our feline friends as comfortable as possible, a busy event such as meowfest may be a stressful environment for many kitties, and could pose health and safety risks. This decision was made as it supports the best interest of all cats involved.

We apologize for any disappointment this may cause! The good mews is that you will still be able to see some adorable feline faces at the event. We invite you to check out our meet-and-greet lineup of celebrity cats, and the on-site ACANA Adoptable Kitty Corner hosted by LAPS. Both of these event features are included in the cost of your General Admission ticket.

We hope you’re as excited as we are to celebrate all things feline on August 20th!

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at info@meowfest.com and we would be happy to help.

Warm purrs,
The meowfest team
